Chris Farrens

Chris grew up in Bend, headed east to college and to Asia to work. He has over 20 years of experience in the industry and public accounting. Chris enjoys working with his old friends from his early days in Central Oregon, and his new friends – all the new comers who add so much energy to the area. He is a member of the AICPA and Oregon Society of CPAs. He is currently on the Board of the Family Kitchen and active with Opportunity Knocks in our community.



Patti Mode, CPA

Patti has been a practicing CPA for over 20 years. She started her career at a regional firm in Portland before moving to Bend in 1999 with her husband and two children. Patti has experience with a wide variety of clients and specializes in all levels of tax preparation, financial statement audits, reviews and compilations. Patti is an excellent resource for business owners, controllers and human resource managers providing support for tax filings, strategic planning and budgeting. She is a member of the AICPA and Oregon Society of CPAs.



Michelle Hanus, CPA, CFE

Michelle joined our firm in May, 1998.  She earned her Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting from Linfield College, as well as, a Bachelors of Applied Arts Degree from Central Michigan University.  In 2005, she earned her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, and in 2016 received her designation as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).  Michelle works with businesses and individuals providing tax preparation services, accounting consulting, analysis or design of internal controls, assist businesses in minimizing the risk of fraud, and investigation of suspected fraud.  She is our lead on financial statement audits and employee benefit audits.  She is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA), and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).


Shoshannah Hudak

Shoshannah joined our team as our office administrator in September 2010. With over 10 years of experience in the accounting industry, she specializes in bookkeeping and payroll services for the firm and our clients. Shoshannah is a Notary and is proficient in all aspects of business administration. She is originally from Tucson, AZ and now loves living in beautiful Central Oregon where she enjoys taking advantage of the many trails and parks Central Oregon has to offer.



Bill Trimble

Bill was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon. After graduating from University of Oregon in 1964 he worked for a national CPA firm in Portland. He moved to Bend in 1971 to open a practice with Gary Everton. With 50 years of experience, Bill provides his expertise in all areas of accounting, but is our specialist in Estate and Trust work.

Away from the office, Bill and his wife, Liz enjoy spending time with his 3 kids, Jeff, Tim, Matt and his six grandchildren. Bill has served our community as the past president of United Way of Deschutes, Chairman of the St. Charles Foundation, and Treasurer of Central Oregon Duck Club.



Stephen Moor, CPA

A native of Central Oregon, Stephen began his public accounting career in 1999.  In 2007, Stephen transitioned to the construction industry where he spent nearly ten years as the accounting and finance lead for construction firms in Central Oregon and North Central Washington.  In 2017, Stephen returned to public accounting, where he continues to serve the financial accounting and reporting needs of contractors.

Stephen is licensed in Oregon and Washington, and is a member of the AICPA and the Oregon and Washington state societies.
